Broke on second use.

Second use broke it in every possible way. The tongues turning the motor broke and the spring steel broke on the first pull after sitting for a few weeks.

Cons
  • Compatibility

Perfect as a replacement for my Honda high-pressure cleaner

Of course, the cable on my Honda high-pressure cleaner tore in the middle of work. I wanted to replace the pull cord but didn't have a spare and then I saw them at Revain. The cost of this device is what some vendors charge just to replace the pull cord. The exterior is plastic but it fits the motor perfectly and I had no problem running the pressure washer with this replacement unit.

Cons
  • Requires socket

Works as intended

Some reviews have mentioned that it is plastic which in my specific case replaced the original on my MTD Pro lawnmower with a Honda engine and plastic pull starter. So from October 2020 is not a long story, but it has worked every time so far. It doesn't take much force to start the Honda motor, so I don't yank the cord too much. I'm guessing it might eventually snap with a hard tug since it's all plastic, but again, it doesn't need much ripping to get started, and so far so good.

Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
