Not happy with the purchase.

I don't like this circle cutter. I used a regular quilting ruler. The black (soft) plastic blade guard rubs against the ruler and flexes, the blade does not touch the fabric. I have to keep it straight without a ruler to cut it. Not a great tool at all.

Pros
  • Blade thickness 0.5 mm
Cons
  • Something else

Difficult to use with cloth

Quite difficult to use. I used binder clips to hold the fabric around the cutting mat to stretch the cutting fabric. This was a big problem and in many cases (which could be user error) it didn't cut completely and caused big problems. I gave it 2 bc which was good for getting an accurate custom sized circle.

Pros
  • Supplied in a blister pack with 2 spare leads and 6 cutting blades.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Save yourself the hassle - don't buy

I bought this thinking it would help me cut circles for my class (I wanted to be able to cut relatively small circles) but it's a cheap product - the blade is significantly shorter than the point, so when twisted, the blade cuts unevenly (unless you might have a double joint and can twist your wrist in an unusual way). Sure, it's economical, but it's better to keep your $9 than to buy it and return it.

Pros
  • Allows you to cut or draw circles up to 150mm in diameter.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
