The tricky part is getting the right water temperature/immersion depth so the shelter doesn't completely lose its shape and stick together. This was my first molded bruxism mouthguard. So I don't have a comparison, but it seems to work fine. I followed the directions and was able to stick it to my teeth. Part of the mold was too thick so I put it back in the boiling water and was able to thin that area. I can sleep peacefully with the face mask on. Bought these for a quick replacement night protection with prescription. I hadn't had time for the second one and was desperate. My other was badly broken and I had migraines at night from grinding my teeth. This worked very well for me. Easy to shape. I liked that there were two types. I initially decided on 6 mm and was quite surprised by the thickness even after installing it.

This is a high quality mouthguard. I deformed the first one in hot water when I put it in my mouth which was my fault. When it's hot, the protection is very soft and may not fit properly.
