🌡️ Honeywell AC11201 Temp Heating Solutions Review

The jury is out on whether this is actually a Honeywell temperature sensor. See attached photo. Honeywell is not listed anywhere on the product. Universal sensor, as far as I understand.

Having installed several in different bathrooms, I strongly recommend adding the second one as a spare. The position of the sensor also plays a role. Make sure there is no carpet or other coverings over it. If the sensor area is covered, it will detect a higher temperature and turn off the thermostat sooner, and the overall floor temperature will not match what you set. I've found that customers often place a rug in front of their vanity.

I laid heated tiles in both bathrooms. The system works well and I bought it on the advice of a friend to have a backup in case a sensor stopped working. If you don't install a backup sensor, you're done when the first sensor dies. I installed this one about 15cm from the other and ran the wire up the wall so it curled up on the back of the control box with a note reminding me what it was.
