It's designed to heat a room which I assume is closed off by a door. In that regard, it works very well. It features 180 and 360 degree (not Fahrenheit) all-round heating, switched on by a lever on the back that closes the top vent 180 degrees. The remote control is a great thing. It has a timer, high and low fan settings, and a temperature range of 60 to 80 degrees. With a three-year guarantee, that's very good.

I work as an administrative assistant at a construction site. My cabin is in a large trailer (a tin box I think) right next to the door. The thermostat is on the opposite side and shows a temperature difference of 7 degrees on my side. Because of traffic jams in front of the doors, I get very cold. Honeywell products are built to last. I have 4 Honeywell fans and a smaller space heater for my office. Bought for the house as some rooms are drafty. The temperature rises and the room heats up immediately! The slim, barrel-shaped body isn't too bulky, and you can place it on your bedside table without worrying about overheating. It hasn't dropped yet, but if it's anything like the one I have under my desk in my office, it turns off the moment it tilts forward because I accidentally kicked it.

Was looking for a heater that would allow me to install a thermostat to keep the apartment a little warmer at night without having to fiddle around with the unit all the time. After reading many of these reviews I knew what to expect. This is a space heater, not a personal heater. The only thing I would like is for it to remember the settings I had last time. Instead, it always turns on at high power and the HI thermostat setting. Setting the thermostat to "HI" means that the thermostat is off and the heating runs continuously, no matter how hot the room is.
