Good inexpensive replacement

These arrived on time and fit as promised. Not as heavy as the OEM parts but also about half the price. Satisfies so far. Will see how long they last.

Pros
  • Not bad for the price but definitely not OEM quality
Cons
  • Can be prone to damage if dropped during installation

Corroded through in 3 years

Mine fit just fine. I've had them for 3 years now. They might say stainless steel, and they are silver colored, but mine corroded through completely in 3 years. I guess for the price, at half that of the Weber brand you could argue they are worth the money, but don't think they will be the last you will buy.

Pros
  • very good flavor bars. fit perfectly and work great
Cons
  • Can be prone to flare-ups if not installed correctly

Good for the Money - my new review

Good fit. They are doing the job thus far. Can't vouch for longevity because I just got them. My advice at this juncture would be to make sure you measure your old ones before you order.

Pros
  • Fits great, easy to install. Pricey for what it is, but cheaper than the branded ones.
Cons
  • Can interfere with certain grill functions

heavy gauge metal; good buy!

These fit my 6 y.o. Lowe's bought Weber Spirit e-210 perfectly! Heavy gauge metal - much more so than the OEM bars. A++ That's my review.

Pros
  • Flavorizer Bars
Cons
  • May not be as effective as the original parts

Weber Spirit e-210: my feedback

I'm not sure why people say these are thin and flimsy. 20 gauge steel is pretty rigid and when compared to the old, rusted out bars they appear to be at least as heavy as the originals. And since they are stainless they should last quite a while. And as a bonus they are cheaper than Weber replacements. Make sure these are the size for your grill first.

Pros
  • Not much to say they fit I grilled
Cons
  • Some users found them too heavy

Made in China of course, but decent manufacture quality, fit into channels OK. See how good the stainless material is as to how many years they last. The original bars lasted 8 years. Price point was good.

Pros
  • They were good, exactly what we need to fix our gas grill!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all cooking styles

Holds up, but covered in rust

Not sure what they really made of, but there is a strong layer of surface rust on all of it. I’ll be honest and say the grill doesn’t get covered every single time we are done using it, but more often than not. They aren’t falling apart and appear stable.

Pros
  • Fits perfect and works well.
Cons
  • These were significantly lighter metal than the original.

Rather thin-gauge SS that will not last.

With a 30 year-old Weber, I have bought replacement flavorizer bars 4 or 5 times over the years. First with the standard steel ones from Weber and later the SS knockoffs from ebay. Frankly, while the latest bars (from Ebay) fit well, they are made of a lighter gauge SS than some before. Moreover, as these age, they sluff off layer of corroded steel, so the thinner the bars, the shorter their life. Therefore, I don't think that these will last very long before turning to flakey rust.

Pros
  • Outdoor Cooking Tools & Accessories
Cons
  • Some users experienced rust after only a few uses

Before you throw out your old barbeque.

We were ready to throw out our old barbeque. I did not heat evenly and took forever to cook food. I thought I would take a chance and see if Ebay might have the heating rods that may improve cooking. Sure enough, Ebay has everything. I looked up the model # for Weber and Ebay had the part. The grill works like it did when it was new. The rods were very inexpensive and they work. I am glad I looked up Ebay before I through this grill out.

Pros
  • I had them over a year still working great and the fit great to
Cons
  • May not last as long as expected

Great product, solidly built. Just Wash before first use

The porcelain ones in my Weber finally rotted out and was in the market for a new set. didn't want to go down the porcelain path again and see them rot out again so I went the SS route. They are extremely well made, no issues at all with the quality.Big recommendation. Wash Wash Wash before using. I did not and the first time I used them you can smell them being used for the first time, it stank!

Pros
  • Too much money
Cons
  • Can be prone to bending if not handled carefully

Great fit and sturdy

I think the product description dimensions 21.5 by 2.5 by 2.5 are wrong: the length is 21.5 inches but the height and width are closer to 1.75 inches, just like my Weber Genesis Silver originals and fit my grill perfectly. These seem very sturdy and I hope they are less susceptible to rust than the enameled deflectors.

Pros
  • fits perfectly
Cons
  • Some users found them to be too flimsy

Fits older Weber e200 models (prior to 2013)

Several reviewers indicate these don’t fit a Weber spirit e200 but apparently it matters how old your version is. I believe these will fit an e200 prior to 2013. Just installed so no clue how they will hold up. Flimsy but I guess people want thick material cheap. Maybe that’s why they are inexpensive?

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • Some users experienced discoloration after extended use
