Well made - easy to use - sharpens chisels in one go!

I don't know how I used to do this by hand! Using such a device makes the grinding process easier and more accurate. I used to guess which corner to take and, to be honest, it was very sloppy. With this I can get the exact number for each edge of the blade. I am 100% in love with this product.

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Doubtful

Very precise: sharpening stones

Pros Fantastic for getting that sharp edge. when tightening or loosening. Tool receiving slots could be a bit better. Once you get past the issues, this tool is really worth the money, but you get what you pay for and when. That's cheap to me.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Essential for chisels

Essential when you need to sharpen a chisel and don't have a steady hand to hold it at the exact angle. It holds the blade and lets it roll across the stone, keeping the whetstone in the same place. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to get the chisel to stay in the flutes of the tool as some of my chisels are wider than the flutes, but once you snap it in it works perfectly and you can get your tools razor sharp.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
