Hooke Road Receiver Wrangler 2018 2020 Review

Insert hole not drilled to match insert Width of hitch wider than bumper. Doesn't drag. The Wangler 2021 bolts are welded, meaning the new insert must fit between the bumper and spare tire plate. There are no installation instructions.

I received the coupler on time, but when I opened the package I was very dissatisfied with the quality. This hitch has extremely poor welds and the paint is peeling and rusting while still in the shipping carton. I would definitely return it if I didn't need it sooner. Will definitely repaint in 6 months.

The hitch itself performs very well, looks great and looks like it would make a very nice addition to my Jeep. The only issue I had with this item, particularly with installation, was when I was about to install it and was expecting an easy, quick bolt on item. The jeep already had two bolts where the hitch should be. Bolts already installed on the Jeep held in place a small metal plate that was attached to the rear plastic bumper as a stabilizer.
