Review on Hooke Road Receiver Wrangler 2018 2020 by Christopher Wells

The hitch itself performs very well, looks great and looks like it would make a very nice addition to my Jeep. The only issue I had with this item, particularly with installation, was when I was about to install it and was expecting an easy, quick bolt on item. The jeep already had two bolts where the hitch should be. Bolts already installed on the Jeep held in place a small metal plate that was attached to the rear plastic bumper as a stabilizer. The plate could probably be removed without any problems with the bumper, but I wanted to reuse the plate to keep the bumper stiff. The big problem was that there were nuts welded to the plate so I had to knock off those two nuts before putting the plate back in place and bolting the hitch into place. After changing the bumper bottom plate, the installation was as easy as can be! Good product! Don't let the extra step of installation hold you back, if you have any mechanical inclinations you should be able to handle them very well.
