Seems to work great, haven't tested the range yet, probably needs some sort of rubber around the slots as it falls off easily. I could try gluing a small piece of thin foam or soft rubber to the inside of the top over the holes and then cutting it out to hold it around the antennas a bit.

Great product. seems well done. so that usage is connected via Hing. facilitates storage. I was only able to walk 1.5, maybe 2 miles to the extensions before losing the light bridge and signal together. Installed an extension cord and drove 4 miles before pinching and bringing the drone home. He still had a strong signal.

They really work. Say what you want. but we have a famous ghost at an event that I have to film every year and send a signal down 'his' hallway, and I (and others) have always gotten very snowy and unstable signals. that is, until I tried. It was wonderful. it was like running a hard wire video cable to the monitor. perfect signal.

I don't understand why some say they don't work. I was able to walk about 1 mile in a dense Wi-Fi area before turning around. I've gone further than without her and still haven't pushed her to the limit. If you don't have the best range, you're either blocked by something, you can't get through, or you're not looking in the right direction. For $10, they're arguably the best accessory for the Phantom.

I've flown with and without. I have to say what it is and the cost, it's worth it. I've flown above 1,225,000 feet in many different locations and the range always varies, but this is the area where the signal is strongest. My best day was at 6436ft and I freaked out when the signal dropped, pinched and brought it back. There's still potential lol. I never fly without one. Good luck to all.

I didn't give it a star because it's probably user error, but I'm pretty tech savvy. If this didn't work for me, good luck it works for you. It's pretty easy, just slips right onto your antenna and fits snugly. But every time I used it, it degraded my signal, not boosted it. So in terms of boost cymbals I think it's a good deal. I just don't think a mod that cheap would really improve a $1000 drone.

Some debate whether it matters or not - I find it provides enough directional focus to extend my range by 20% and significantly improve my signal. Remember that the direction of the bird is very important. So when you take off or land, decrease your altitude significantly to stay within signal range. I like the way it folds here. And yes, the brass sticker has a clear film on it and needs to be removed - it would be nice if they extended the clear plastic tab to make it easier to grip the edge.

I chose this model because it was half the price of other models but looks similar. So I had low expectations, but I'm amazed at the results. Got it today and used it on two flights and was able to fly twice as far without losing the video feed. I read a few reviews saying the product didn't work and didn't give them any extra range and my only thought is they must have put it on the wrong way round because there is a significant difference between flying with and without . . I will never fly…
