🔍 Dusting Brush for Hoover Canister Vacuums Review

Was surprised that parts are still available for this 35 year old Hoover canister. Great replacement for my old worn out brush.

This brush has only fine bristles. Note that in none of the photos is the brush visible from the ground. Because the viewer sees how thin the row of bristles is.

A little loose, but a locking pin keeps it in place. Good that there are spare parts for older models. I'm fed up with "planned obsolescence". Great for cleaning up with my 'old' can of Spirit Hoover which I hope will last for many years to come.

Fits my 25 year old Hoover Dimension canister vacuum. However, unlike my original brush, it seems a little wobbly when attached. Also, the bristle layer of the brush is not as thick as my original brush. I don't think this is original hardware, and while it's not quite the equivalent of my original brush, I expect it will fit. Actually I haven't tried it yet.

I bought this to attach to my crappy new Dirt Devil vacuum. The vacuum box said it was made specifically for pets, but the attachments didn't work to properly remove pet hair from furniture. I also had to buy a piece of tubing to connect this brush to the vacuum hose as they are about the same circumference. This plugin works great. The bristles aren't too hard to break pads when pressed. Completely satisfied with this purchase.
