Got this to replace a damaged OEM plastic bitter in my old trusty Hoover self-propelled wind tunnel. This works great in a vacuum and is much quieter than the original.

Perfect fit This is a wearing part and should be replaced from time to time. The brushes on my old one were almost half worn out. When I replaced the old one with this one, the dust box filled up almost immediately.

Hoover Wind Tunnel Brush is so worn that the bristles on the roller are about half the original length. I decided not only to replace the roller with this brush, but also both belts. The new reel was slightly different from the original but was a direct replacement and fitted perfectly. It took less than 15 minutes to change the belts and pulleys and now they work like new.

The product corresponds to the description. It's made of wood, not plastic like the original. Is that good or bad?! I do not know. It's quite strong and I suspect it will last a reasonable amount of time. One thing I noticed about the bristles, they are longer than the original. Again, I'm not sure if that's good or bad. After installing the brush, I noticed that as I move the vacuum sideways against the rotation, it stops rotating. A bad drive belt is to blame! My recommendation, change the…
