Well that was easy!

What you don't like. Remove the taillights, insert the fork into the line and pull the fork close to the hitch. I don't mind splicing and soldering things, but I really don't mind plug and play if the price is right.

Pros
  • Easier than cutting and gluing
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I would give this no star if possible. I received it quickly and my husband was able to install it according to the instructions without any problems. Unfortunately, after just one use, something exploded and it smelled horribly burnt. When my husband took it off the spark plug melted, luckily the headlights in our car weren't damaged.

Pros
  • Designed to connect a trailer wiring system to a car wiring system
Cons
  • Expensive

super easy. for steering wheels and accessories

Surprisingly simple. Disconnect taillights and plug everything back in! Doesn't include wire form which would be nice but do yourself a favor and get one to protect your wiring. You must be ready to figure out such trifles yourself, but no cuts, splices, connecting relays or installing switches. Very easy. Suggestion: Instead of just tying or dangling a hitch to the hitch, get one of these!

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • Protection

What is a "Light " Saver

I just bought my 2004 Dodge Durango with the factory hitch kit and aftermarket hitch but no factory headlight kit. I have searched the internet for weeks to find the correct wiring harness as the original part number listed for this model and year has been removed and not replaced. Then I found this one and decided to give it a try. Fine. It worked! I removed the taillights, plugged in the connectors, routed the wires along the underside of the lights and attached them to the underside of the…

Pros
  • Keeps the wiring system intact
Cons
  • Long wait

I give 5 stars because hooking it up was easy

I give 5 stars because hooking it up was easy, I did it myself (I'm disabled/handicapped) and my truck still lights up everything Works flawlessly. However, I don't have a trailer and don't intend to use it. I just added a tow hitch to my car and decided I need to get the wiring as well. I bought a tow bar for a portable scooter mount that doesn't require lights or a power outlet so I may never be able to use it or see if this part works so I have faith it will work as well as the rest. I…

Pros
  • Helps meet trailer combo
Cons
  • vulgarity
