Good replacement good for connectors

Well it seems like I replace this connector every few years but it's different from the wiring and I need to double check what I did wrong to fix the Making connections more reliable. rust resistant, I lubricated them with electric grease

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Useful for trailer accessories

A simple device but very essential when towing my caravan. I didn't always pull on the plug, sometimes I would pull on the cord until the cord started to come loose. Sometimes there was no connection with the wire, so it had to be replaced. The only technical issue is getting the wires securely fastened in the right place, coincidentally that's no good. ;)

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Cable shorter than other accessories

Great plug over plug

This is just a great RV plug at a great price. I had various problems with headlights on a towed vehicle. It had 1" round metal connectors on each end of the wiring harness/wire. Since replacing the 1" round metal connectors with two large 9-pin Hopkins connectors, I have not had any wiring issues or problems with our Diny. Towing Vehicle - Running Light , brake light or turn signal left and right!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Frequency

This connector will not work with my 2016 RAM 3500.

This connector will not work with my 2016 RAM 3500 in the trailer light connector. It was a very loose fit and the locking tab was too far from the fork so the tab on the truck's side cover couldn't snap onto the tab on that part to hold it in place. I tried another identical 48505 Hopkins connector from a local vendor and encountered the same issue, so it's a design issue with that connector and/or the RAM connector. I bought another locally made Pollak fork and it fit perfectly. Send it back…

Good plug. in Trailer Accessories

Slightly better quality than most plastic parts. I just want the terminal screws to be brass instead of steel. Also note that as a trailer seller I can tell you that there is nothing wrong with the wiring code. These are just regular RV paints molded into plastic. Always connect correctly! The attached diagram is also correct. Note that the drawing was created looking at the wires entering the connector, NOT looking at the connector from its mating face. If you aren't equipped or don't know how

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Nothing here

Overall a good product but the map does not match the 2013 Tundra.

It's plastic but feels good. BUT. Not only is the instruction wrong, but so is the shape that this plug is made of. I used this connector to hook up a "four wheel" camper with a cab over pop up to a 2013 Tundra that came with the standard towing package. I only had to run a ground wire and a positive wire to the RV. All pins are marked (mold in plastic) but I know for sure that power and ground are marked wrong. You need to route the "white wire" to the "black" post of this connector and the…

Works perfectly. Do not use adapters.

All kinds of adapters are available to switch from seven to five to four blade connections. The problem is that with each adapter you add another potential point of failure. Directly, absolutely. If you need to connect power from your vehicle to different towed units with different blade configurations, have an auto electrician install a panel on the back of your vehicle with the necessary direct connect inputs that accept your existing plugs. I found this out the hard way: the five-to-seven…

High-quality connector for medium loads.

I bought 2 of these for work scheduled next week. Revain has the best price for a quality product, especially with the add-on. I read all the customer reviews just to kill time. I'm speaking as someone who has been repairing cars for over 30 years and as a registered master technician for over 20 years. The connection diagram in the box is correct, you just have to look carefully, as intended by the manufacturer. Viewed from the back of the connector where you connect wires, not the front of…
