Buy once or buy plastic again and again

I used pressure treated wood and painted the boards with floor paint to prevent splinters and make cleaning easier. The downside is that they are heavier and take up more storage space than plastic. On the plus side, they actually work and should be nearly indestructible. Their weight helps keep them in place when parked. The wide black band prevents the tire from pushing back blocks. The whole facility works. I was able to drive right up to her on the first try!

Pros
  • Simple design
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Durable, easy to use, versatile design.

I have researched and read many reviews of several RV leveling block systems for my 30ft 6500lb tandem axle trailer. and customizable. My axles are Torx Flex and are mounted very close together so fitting separate blocks between the wheels was not an option. they can easily be rolled over. They work very well and I would recommend them. I'm still trying to figure out how to get 5 1/2+ lifts with them (3-2x8 bds per stack).

  • Good but not great

Missed: Tools and Equipment

I think most people completely missed the mark when reviewing this product. I'm sure anyone can cut boards and put a trailer on them without those plastic tools. The question is, will the boards stay in place during this process? The answer is no. It's not meant to "look nice" or be a "more sophisticated solution," as one reviewer wrote. I'm sure the engineers didn't take this into account when designing them. Its sole purpose is to solve two glaring problems of creating a ramp to get tires in…

The tires moved him.

Tried to use on a 3-axle motorhome. The tires pushed him out worse than without the ramps mounted. I even had a woman try to hold it with her foot while I was going up the ramp but it didn't work. I ended up removing the ramps from the 2x8 leveling blocks, after which the blocks stayed in place. I was very disappointed because I bought them so a stack of two or three 2x8 leveling blocks would stay together on a very uneven surface. I never got to try it because I couldn't even use a single…

I prefer smooth and bulletproof

I've tried them all - Lego bricks, solid steps and curved leveling boards. Everyone has their own problems. Lego bricks are very difficult to put together, they fall apart if you lug them around a bit and load/weight them with an RV, it's easy to rip the end off solid aligners, and curved aligners are a bit of a safety issue I think you put something on the other side of the wheel. Keep your foot on the brake before it rolls back. Bent aligners can also interfere with the wheel well. All of…

Good decision! on Tools & Equipment

They work exactly as I hoped! I was the woman who stood in front of our Sprinter setup and installed two-tier yellow plastic setups that slide or bounce half the time. And often they weren't high enough. We tried putting the square ones under us, like Lego, and one of our yellow ones broke. So we noticed them and I thought they would work better. They do! As mentioned before, be sure to look under one of the blocks for the "missing" part stored there. Directions were easy. We received the wood,

  • boring packaging

Seems like a good option for tandem trailers.

I think this kit is a great idea. I'm a big eater, but I'm also learning when to set boundaries. I've seen my friends try to put tandems on top of stacked 2 x 6 boards only for the top boards to slide off. You could do it, but what's your time worth in the end? I've also come to realize that it's just frustrating to keep trying to save money and speed up a project. Additionally, trying to make everything out of wood will result in small parts of the ramp breaking across the grain. Or some dado…
