Doesn't quite live up to expectations, but close.

Difficult to fill because the handle covers the opening. The cover is also difficult to remove, you have to pull hard. Otherwise it is as advertised. He whistles.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Very expensive

Red Kettle: Cookware

Beautiful Kettle; works well and seems to be holding up. I haven't had any rust problems but I don't leave water in it. The lid fits well, the grip is comfortable and the whistle is not very uncomfortable. If you don't have a big house, a whistle will do.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Some Bugs

Nice but short lived

I bought this kettle about 8 months ago and use it about 5-10 times a week. I liked the look, great whistle and pouring without dripping. However, I found the lid very difficult to remove, had to "wiggle" back and forth a lot, and since the handle is so close to the lid, I had to wiggle the handle as well. In the end I noticed that the grip was loose and there was a pin of sorts sticking out on the side; Also, the lid didn't open at all. Not wanting to pour boiling water out of a dangling…

  • Don't waste too much time
