There was no strap on the handle, labels and branding on the crop. The blow is not as wide or tapered as in the photo. I think you get what you pay for.

I'd say for light play and light hitting it will work, but if you want to leave red marks it won't hold up. I don't even use it roughly, it's enough to leave a mark and it's broken. Wouldn't buy again.

Beautiful product and well finished. The leather looks high quality. Only time and use will tell for sure, but it's flexible, durable and holds up well. It even withstood a good chew after my Frenchie got my hands on it. I would recommend and buy again.
