Much better in the product description than in reality. It is very difficult to wash as the label only says cold temperatures for washing and drying. I did the same today and it was still wet. I don't understand why the product got so many "5 stars". The product is not bad but not as good as described. So I would say 1 to 5 should be 2.

This blanket was obviously someone else's return and I couldn't bring myself to take it out of the packaging to open it fully and see how dirty or used she was. The duvet was not in the original packaging which was obvious as the original packaging was part of the package it came in. Disappointed. However, I ordered it yesterday afternoon and had it delivered in less than 24 hours which is great although I won't be keeping it.

The duvet was a bit heavier than I expected or would like as I bought it for the summer but always still good for slightly cool (40 to 50) nights with the window open. It has no "haul" or weight, but it's snug. The only thing I really don't like is the fabric. It's cheap microfiber, like the baby sheets at Target.blech. If it were covered in cotton (especially percale!) it would be bee knees. It remains to be seen how it holds up to washing.

I've been looking for a lightweight summer blanket and this is it! It's not super fluffy, which is what I was looking for. It's an inch or two thick though, so it has some weight, just enough to feel snug but not too bulky so I don't overheat underneath. It's really soft and comfortable and had no problem moving under the duvet cover which was a constant problem with my last duvet. In general I am very satisfied. I think it will be suitable for winter, albeit light. Very happy. would recommend.

The care label recommends air drying for best results, which explains why so many starred items become damaged after tumble drying. Bedding that requires air drying should be marked as such in the description. I didn't find any mention of air drying in the product description. I have to wash it too often for it to pay off. If you don't wash it I'm sure it will work for you (which also explains the 4 and 5 star ratings). Otherwise, skip it or consider it a one-time, limited-use item. I've air…
