🔥 Max 22028 Hot Storage Box Review

Okay I'm not a welder but I wanted something to hold multiple types of skewers that would protect the metal versions from bending and mildew free wood/rot. I take them on the road so I need something durable and easy to use. I tried 3 other brands and this Hot Max had the specs and build quality I wanted. Very durable (for something hollow).

I need a container that will keep the poles dry, ie protect them from humid air. Based on the reviews and the description as "luxury" and "sealed" I ordered this one. Upon receipt and visual inspection, I noticed that the sealing surface on the container body is clearly not smooth. Thought maybe a square o-ring would make the seal anyway, I tested it by screwing the lid on tight and placing the container in a bucket of warm water (to expand the air).
