This hair dryer is the best solution for curly hair! i love love love so much I have fine curly hair so I run my diffuser on the lowest setting and you know what? Always perfect curls! I'm not sure what ions do, but they work for me. So happy!

It only took me 5 months. It started to get very hot and then started sparking, complete with smoke. Now I have to pay to ship it back to Hot Tools and they want an extra $10 to cover shipping for them. I would definitely NOT buy this again. My Babybliss hair dryer has worked for 8 years with no problems. I return to this brand.

Too bad you don't have to hold down the cool-shot button. When using my naturally curly hair with a diffuser, I prefer to cool dry it towards the end. Does what it should. Nice long cord.

Bought another Hot Tools hair dryer for a lower price and it was terrible. I think that's what I get. I already have a black and gold iron and a long wand; They are amazing! I knew I should have bought it from the start. Heats up very quickly and I love all of its drying features like ion switching and acceleration. The button placement is great too!

Pros: light weight, reasonable price, long cord, gets very hot Cons: not enough air power. It is, and that's enough for my rating to only be 2 stars. I have fine, straight, medium length hair and it takes too long to dry with this hairdryer. It performs the same as my tumble dryer, the Solano, which blew up after 2+ years, but doesn't blow as hard. I was hoping at $60 it would be a deal comparable to a $150 Solano. I was wrong.

This hair dryer does not heat enough. The knob is cumbersome with all the knobs and it's a tough dilemma to set the temperature, which keeps moving due to its $90 position, which I expected better.
