I bought this microphone for online lecture recording and it did a good job. Both the receiver and the microphone charge very quickly, and the batteries last a few hours. Battery indicators show when the battery is low. The microphone comes with a clip so you can attach it to your belt, for example. Or you can just put it in your pocket. I didn't use it with a headset but with a small lapel mic clip which was very thin and held onto my collar very well. You can adjust the volume on the intercom
