Better than Bosch! Best in Power Tools

Finally an angle grinder that won't beat you to death because you can easily control the speed, which means you can control how far the dirt goes. It even runs slow enough to be used for polishing. It has great torque and power at all speeds. A month earlier we'd bought a Bosh with similar capabilities, but it was quite awkward to use and significantly heavier, and the speed controller wasn't as easily accessible. Bosh also cost about twice as much, but we were so discouraged that we gave it…

Pros
  • Variable Speed Switch allows the user to determine the best speed for the application;
Cons
  • flimsy

Not very powerful for mechanical and hand tools

I've been using a Hitachi G12SR2 5 amp coffee grinder for decades that finally broke last weekend. I cut out 1/8th of the steel angle and the bearings fell out. After looking at many options for angle grinders, I liked the variable speed idea because I sometimes cut aluminum or plastic and thought it would come in handy. This grinder was also rated for 8 amps, so it seemed like a perfect fit. Once I got the grinder, I was done cutting the piece of steel that eventually killed my beloved…

Pros
  • Ball bearing motor, aluminum gear case; Trigger grip offers better control, reach and leverage; Spindle lock for easy wheel changes;
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Why this variable speed angle grinder is the best for me

It didn't take long, but I think it was more than worth it. Contrary to what most people use, this suits my needs exactly. I buy and sell old login tools. My number one vintage tool that I buy and professionally restore are two-handed miter saws, which some people call whips of misery. Cleaning sometimes requires removing layers of rust. The area where you have to be really careful is the area where the saw teeth are and then there is a scraper next to those cutting teeth and as the name…

Pros
  • Double insulation is operator safe; Auto-stop carbon brushes help prevent engine damage.
Cons
  • Dear
