This is the perfect cleaner for our boat. It's a lot quieter than other 12V vacuums we've tried and handles water like a champ. It easily catches insects that accumulate on the boat overnight. You don't have to wipe them anymore. This company also has excellent customer service. We had an older model that had an issue and they replaced it with no questions asked.

Ha ha ha you hit the title. This is a decent little car vacuum that won't break the bank. I bought a THISWORX car vacuum a few months ago and it really sucks (in a bad way), it barely picks up lint from the seat covers. I paid $35 for a Thisworx vacuum which I returned within hours of trying to get it working. I bought a Hothor for a little over $20 and it worked better.

I like the long cord. I use it in my trailer and the light comes in handy for less well lit areas. For a 12 volt device, the suction power is good for picking up everything and removing dust from things. When the lint is stuck to the carpets, the brush at the end of the used material loosens it and sucks it up. Haven't tried it with liquids yet, but it seems to have enough power for that. This is the best car vacuum I have ever used. The vacuum cleaner of the new model has been significantly improved - now it really sucks up grass, dirt and paper waste. I really appreciate the new LED lighting - it lets you see from all angles so you know you've picked up dirt. Good portable vacuum cleaner, a bit poor in suction but for a car and the price it's a good buy. Update 10/23/18, vacuum still works good, suction is terrible (100 suction without a nozzle is about 50) and if you attach a nozzle the suction drops by 90% so keep that in mind before you buy in tight spaces which require investment makes this vacuum very bad to downgrade to 1 star.
