Do-it-yourself lantern for a four-tier bumper

is satisfied so far. DIY headlight with four bumpers. Takes at least. Wrap everything in shrink wrap and hit the high beam switch. But I'm happy with just 10 on one bike and 6 on the other, I was planning on using 12 on each bike

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I am very happy with them

I was surprised at how small they were and even more surprised at the light they gave off. I am very happy with them, they made the perfect stone lanterns for my blazer. I would give them five stars but one of them had a lens that fell off but I was able to reattach it with clear silicone glue.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Wrongly advertised power rating

I was looking forward to the fitment but was disappointed with the low power. Pros: Item looks as described. Threaded aluminum body makes installation easy. Cons: Rated power is almost 1/10th of advertised power output. Advertised at 9 watts, but actually only delivers 1 watt. It is very unfair that they advertise these 9w bulbs when in fact they are 1w bulbs. 4 bulbs draw 0.32A (shown) (0.32A x 12V) / 4 = 0.96W. The bulb is 0.8A 0.8A x 12V = 0.96WI, as is the Bulbs and would give 5 stars if…

A great and inexpensive way to make your bike stand out.

Very good value for money. I doubt they put out more than 300 lumens but they use 9 watts so they are not super efficient LEDs but they are great side lights for a motorcycle. Because of their compact size, they can be installed almost anywhere. The points of light are more attractive than I expected. I added a couple of these points on each side of the front axle: one to the front and one to the side. My riding friends said the ones on the side really improve my vision in low light. They…

Fits my lawnmower perfectly!

These are the coolest! I have an old lawnmower that used single cell auto bulbs which were not very bright and deteriorated when the lenses started to yellow. I bought them thinking I would have to mount them all to some kind of light bar or whatever to get the amount of light I wanted, but how wrong I was! These little lights are BRIGHT! I easily drilled eight holes in the plastic grille at the front of the mower and secured them with the nuts and washers that came with the headlights. I then…

It's not a bad light.

I have a '67 Lemans and as it's a convertible I don't have any overhead lights except for a couple under the dash (which don't light up well). So I bought these little guys to pop into my custom center console to "light" it up inside when I wanted to, and they did just that! They are small but have little effect. I built 4 of these into the console (front, back and sides) and now you can find what you are looking for when you turn on the light. They are not too bright, 4 of them did their job…

Good light with a few weaknesses.

In general everything is fine. They have good beam distribution. It doesn't need much power and is bright enough. In fact, I was surprised at how bright. At first glance they appear to be well made, but I broke four of the twelve just by tightening them with my finger. There is no key. just my fingers The other four were fine. It looks like the threaded stem is just glued into the rim of the lantern body. Something stronger is recommended for joining the two pieces of metal together. Better…

Robust construction, bright light, complex wiring

I bought these to use as cargo lights on my trailer but ended up using two lights as lights on my generator. They work great but I had a problem installing them. Pros: Rugged metal body, fully sealed interior for cable attachment, easy installation, optimal cable length, bright light. some. Please note that the attached picture shows factory tinned leads; Real wire consists of about 7 hair-thick strands, which together are even smaller than the tinned bundle at the end. While this can be…

If you're not good with very thin wires, skip this.

I have to give 3 stars. I'm torn at this moment. Now the light is as bright as it needs to be for my use. But as others have said, super thin wire is 30 ga at best. If you wish to use wipers, special wipers must be ordered. I simply lit them and removed the heated insulation. Then I decided to cast 3 lamps together, add some shrink tubing with glue and leave the tinned area open. Then I very carefully tinned them onto a piece of 16ga wire. Place a piece of heat shrink tubing back onto the 16ga…
