Hound Heater Furnace Deluxe Bracket Review

Bought my first 4 years ago, still works, have ordered 3 this year as I am raising a dog from a local shelter. . I am happy that I can offer the animals a warm and safe place this winter.

The heater works great, the dog likes it. I will say if you install this for your dogs/pets make sure your kennel is sealed or you will definitely run up your electric bills. It's also a good idea to plug it into a switch or wireless remote to make sure it's off when you don't need it.

I just installed and will update after use. The igloo staple that came with the kit was a joke. Obviously this was only for older models. I had to drill new holes and only two of the existing holes matched. I am 57 years old and have collected many items. The combined instructions for this were useless. We'll see how warm it gets.

Good product, easy to install (once I have the right screws), heats well. I would give this product 5 stars, but the screws provided are 1) insufficient, 2) the wrong size (e.g. bracket; the ones provided did not fit and were too small to 'do the job'. Since I also... buying spare screws everywhere i went ahead and bought stainless steel to replace the galvanized ones this is a great heater really the best (go on akoma!.now THAT would be perfect ;)

I installed this in a very large kennel (2nd largest kennel. German Shepherd). It's been up and running for a few weeks now and works great. Some of the bad reviews are from people who have used this without installing a kennel door. That's all I'll say about that. lol Installation requires a bit of thought and a special mount when used on igloo shaped houses. It took some time to figure out how high to mount it to keep it perpendicular enough to the curved interior of the house, but it's not…
