Brass fittings, what can go wrong you ask?

I needed an adapter to connect a b/w garden hose to two rain barrels. This requires an adapter, which is to be expected. The problem I found was that the male threads didn't match the same size adapters that could be found at my local Ace hardware store. I ended up having to buy an adapter for the internal thread. Not the end of the world.

Pros
  • Industrial and Scientific
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

NOT GHT and nothing else useful

They don't have a garden hose thread or other common threads. Many other reviewers have pointed this out (wish I'd read them before buying) so the seller should be aware their listing is fake. However, as of this writing, the listing still says "garden hose thread". Also the bulkheads I received had burr threads cut. I sent mine back and would not recommend buying these.

Pros
  • Pipe fittings
Cons
  • Some little things

Male Thread IS NOT A Garden Hose OR 3/4 MPT

However, one would assume they have a 3/4 pipe thread, which is not the case. I have several new 3/4 tube fittings, both steel and brass, and none of them will thread into any of the fittings I have more than a half turn or so. So not sure what this thread is, but it's not standard. This is totally useless to you if you need the male side to attach. The 1/2 female thread seems correct. So if you need to connect this part, this fitting should work. I haven't installed it in anything so I can't…

Pros
  • Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Plumbing
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
