A little disappointed but will keep using it

Not sure I'm doing anything wrong but although it leaves a nice sheen it's greasy. I had to wipe it down with paper towels to get rid of the grease. I was told it would take surface scratches. I guess mine wasn't as superficial as I thought it would be. The smell is lemony, so if you like lemons, it smells like lemons.

This Lemon Oil saved and transformed a precious gift

Howard LM0008 Lemon Oil Wood Polish saved my treasured heirloom marquetry from oblivion. An original work is art and craft at the same time. This is a gift from my late mother. I kept it in my desk drawer because it had faded and no longer seemed presentable enough to show off. I bought lemon oil just for fun to see what it does. Oh my. God! I ordered this large bottle after buying and emptying the smaller bottle. I have had many antiques and oils furniture for years. I used Old English and was happy until I started using Howard products. It doesn't leave the wood oily like Old English. I bought two 1970's dressers and after cleaning and oiling them with Howard's wood soap (which I highly recommend) they didn't even look like they were the same piece of furniture. You were even prettier. The cleaned soap and oil really brought out…

I will not be buying this product again as it leaves a film on my new solid wood coffee and coffee tables. I sprayed a small amount of product onto a soft cloth and then wiped the tables with it. At first I thought I was using too much product. Had to wipe several times with a cotton cloth to remove the product. I've used it 3 or 4 times on the same tables. Even with a small amount and a good rub/buff with a cotton cloth, I can see my cat's marks on the table the next day due to product…
