Use these on my Hardwood Plywood CNC Machine. Helps prevent wear and the price is great. So far in the tree the bit seems to be having a good lifespan as I'm still on first.
Most people use this on the CNC to cut plywood without much cracking. I definitely noticed a difference in the cuts with this one. Not necessarily a good choice for wood harder than pine, but otherwise a good choice. The beats don't last long, but with a few beats to burn through, it's definitely worth it.
I have a dremel which I used to mill pine logs when rebuilding our house which was damaged by fire in 1912. I bought a few sets of HSS titanium bits but found them virtually useless after cutting a few inches of soft pine. I tried making a 3/8" channel 3/4" x 5" deep and they just lost their edge after a few inches. With little pressure and only 1/8" deep per pass it was never mind they seemed just decorative toys these hozly beats are the real deal soft jaws they cut like warm butter they work
