Bought for my son it's so perfect and light. The sound is loud, but don't expect a lot of bass. The buttons on the player work as intended, however the STOP button is used for several functions that were initially confusing. To stop the CD, press and hold the square stop button to properly stop the CD before ejecting. Please!

Given the price, I was very surprised by the sound quality of this unit. I originally bought this for my 8 year old grandson. His mom and I decided to use it for the whole family because it's so pretty. It has great sound for radio and CDs and is loud enough for outdoor use. The 8 year old used all the controls without reading the instructions so it's easy to use. Oh, he dropped it on day one too. It's in good condition.

The buttons take a bit of getting used to as several functions for the player and radio are crammed into one button and aren't as clear as the last type I had. The radio is smaller but doesn't take up much space. Plays both CD and radio normally. The antenna is not too long, but picks up signals well. Let's hope this lasts a long time as some brands have CD players that for some reason seem to have a short lifespan.
