If you are reading this just buy it

I tried about 4 different size screws. these works. The 2016 Subaru wrx came with a standard front panel holder. Has 6 places for screws. 2 for Japanese. 4 for typical operations. Washers are perfect. No rust.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some little things

Don't worry about the fasteners

They are only 3/4 inch long. If you use a license plate frame and a license plate cover, there is no longer enough grip on the threads to bite, at least not reliably. Not to mention that over $6 for 4 foreign screws is pretty expensive.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Update available

My beautiful new 2015 Forester came with only two stainless steel.

My new 2015 Forester only had two non-stainless bolts front and rear and started to rust. Replacing her wasn't as easy as one might think. They fit perfectly and hold the new license plate frame perfectly.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Can't remember

Fits Crosstrek 2018

Dealer installed screws rusted after about a year. Wanted to replace the stainless steel screws to prevent rusting. I have a 2018 Crosstrek. These bolts are slightly longer than the dealer installed bolts. Perfect fit for my car. You could probably save a few bucks by buying regular stainless steel washers/screws from the hardware store.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Some trouble

They are perfect for my Subaru Legacy (4th generation)

They are perfect for my Subaru Legacy (4th generation). I've tried other regular license plate screws from regular dealerships but they were all loose and didn't offer a tight fit. They fit snug and tight and come with washers. Now my license plate no longer rattles when I close the trunk.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Expensive

Almost a perfect fit for a 2007 Forester

My car was in Europe for three years and came back with no license plates and only two screws. Finding the license plate screws was harder than it should have been until I found these. They matched perfectly with the backplate and almost perfectly with the frontplate. I say "almost" because the screws are a bit long and went through the label, through the mounting bracket, and into the bumper fascia. I assume this will help keep the plate and brace from falling off, but the screw shouldn't be…

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • No automatic

Just what I needed for a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek

I just bought a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek that had its nameplate changed and I'm gone. I also got a license plate frame to mount myself and that's when I noticed that the license plate screws are only 1/2 inch long - not enough to mount the frame on the license plate. I stopped at an auto parts store and stocked up license plate screws, but found that they were too thick for the Subaru license plate nut that the screw fits. I searched the internet and found them listed. A bit pricey but worth it if

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine
