Sony has developed a rechargeable battery pack consisting of just 2 AAA batteries in a plastic case. The catch is that the batteries are sealed inside the case and won't work without it. The Sony replacement was $40, this one was $10 and fit perfectly.

Exactly as advertised. I have already selected new headphones to replace the ones that no longer work for me. Decided to spend $12 on a new battery (instead of $90 on a new kit) and see if that was the problem. And so it was! On Sony's MDR-RF925R on-ear headphones, they worked like clockwork.

Long wait but when it did it took my husband less than a minute to swap out the old battery and the difference is amazing. My headphones that I was looking to replace sound the same as they did 2 years ago when I first got them. Try this BEFORE you cancel your old set. Could save you some serious $$.

I've had the same Sony wireless headphones for over 10 years. Luckily, unlike some of the newer ones, they have a battery that can be replaced. I bought a cheaper name brand battery and it only lasted 6 months, hope this one will last longer. So far it works great. It's been a month and it's working great. It's nice to be able to keep an item instead of replacing it.

This item was delivered on time, well packaged and looked good but did not charge in my Sony headset. I know the headset is good because the old battery still works, it just doesn't last long.
