Love this drone. I have had 2 of these drones and would buy a 3rd if I needed one cheap and they fly very far with a controller a pro controller which I own as a great drone

Altitude and xy position are held by GPS. View telemetry on screen. It's hard to beat the price of all of these components, even if you build your own. Essentially tie and fly. Pretty quiet drone and powerful. Relatively fast if you disable GPS mode. Don't forget to order the battery and micro SD card and bind them to the controller (you'll need one of those, of course).

Great drone, I have ordered 4 of these in the last 3 years. The last H501 I bought had a bad curcit speed controller controlling 1 of 4 motors so it never works. I sent it back 3 weeks ago with the label printed out and am checking my return status. It says "Refund will be sent when we receive the drone." Shipping by UPS, what is the delay? Why didn't Revan get it? Hope this isn't a scam.

Very good replacement for my original drone (same model) which was eaten by a tree. Paired instantly with my original controller. There were some software updates. I rarely have to calibrate the compass before flying - this was a must on my original drone. The same non-existent support. The exchange works great, but support never responded to my compass calibration request. I love my Hubsan H501SS X4 and recommend it.

These are great drones for beginners and advanced users. solid construction compared to flimsy others in its price range. Love them but the QC seems to be missing but trust Mifly to take care of this since July when I bought it. I contacted Hubsan but didn't get much response. mifly quickly took care of my problem. I love flying this thing. The only thing I would like is longer battery life. While on point for 18-20 minutes, it's not in altitude mode, it's in GPS mode.

Decided to add this first. This drone is VERY picky when it comes to SD card selection. I have LOTS of SD cards of different speeds and most didn't work at all and the ones that worked produced very choppy videos. Terrible. What worked was the Sandisk Extreme Plus MicroSDHC 32GB.
