I originally bought another brand from Kroger and they were very expensive at $7.50 each. It took some time to put them all together for the 8 piece set. Pretty expensive, I was so in love with her. When I wanted to buy more to get another set they were discontinued. I was looking for forged silver cutlery and found this. WHAT A PLEASURE! I'M SURPRISED. The quality is second to none and the weight, texture and durability are perfect. Wonderfully made and elegant. Great purchase!

This company has excellent customer service and integrity and for that reason alone I will be buying from them again. I had a problem with my first order and they contacted me themselves to fix the problem and immediately sent me a replacement. The replacement set fits perfectly. I can only imagine that the problem I had with my first order was unusual. This set is great and well made with a significant weight. The finish is smooth and shiny and they wash great.

I bought a 60-pack of Hudson Essentials from Revain. I paid €139.99. I want to purchase an additional Hudson service, but it costs $49.99. Then I see Hudson is selling a 68 piece set INCLUDING a serving set for only $10 more. I would definitely buy a set with service if I saw an offer like this. Now I'm disappointed that I have to pay $49.99 if I want this serving set. By the way, the set is nice and heavy, which is great.

Update edit: Contacted the seller, he explained that the knives don't have the same treatment to sharpen them and need to be hand washed . They sent replacements in a timely manner and my kit no longer rusts. Very happy with my purchase. I really like this cutlery but all the knives rusted the first time they were washed. Hudson Essentials claims their stainless steel flatware is 18/10 fine, but it appears to be much lighter than the Crate & Barrel Mesa version or the Oneida Cabria version. In short, this set far exceeded my expectations. The first impression after opening the box is the beautifully carved handles. I like their workmanship and design. As it was dinner time this was the perfect opportunity to see them. The harness is the right size and the weight was just perfect. This set feels heavy but not overly heavy and definitely doesn't feel fragile. In addition, the dishes are much more practical than my Mikasa set. The knife was well balanced and surprisingly sharp.
