I bought this as an upgrade to the thin felt mat that came with my NAD C558 glass screen. I removed the felt mat and installed the Hudson. It's a little thicker, but I haven't made any adjustments to the BTA. I've listened to a few well-known albums and found that the music sounds less clear and kind of dull.
