Who needs bottled ink?

My airbrush and calligraphy pens love the rich, dark ink these pens produce. Plus, their cute little extras look just as good as polishing an inkstone. And the polishing is so meditative.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Beautiful handmade ink pens

I really appreciate the fine handmade lacquer ink pens for Chinese and Japanese calligraphy and painting. I use prepared sumi-e ink. I like the consistent texture and saturation of the ink.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Don't know

This ink stone is of high quality.

I love this inkstone! I've tried a few at a similar price and don't have the quality of this stone. This Inkstone is smooth (unlike cheap gritty stones) to be polished and most importantly dark. The smell is earthy and pleasant, so that's a plus.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great mascaras, I will buy more.

I only started painting with ink last year. I fell in love with this product from the start. This stick was a beautiful shade of black, more than any other brand I bought a few months ago. I let the ink rest in the closed ink stone. The ink seems to get richer if you let it dry for a few weeks. I apply diluted grays and then apply the final shadows using the darkest batch of ink. I was also addicted to the smell of these ink pens. They evoke a sense of calm. I find that this "aromatherapy"…

Pros
  • Drawing materials
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

The seller (Easyou) recommended me to try this ink pen.

I had calligraphy ink sticks as a child and with the recent resurgence of my interest in calligraphy and watercolor painting I bought several colored ink sticks for artists and most likely a black ink stick for students. The seller (Easyou) recommended I try this discounted mascara as I probably shouldn't be using student mascara. The smell of this mascara is much more pleasant. While a student ink pen is very easy to sharpen with an ink stone, this one requires a bit more work. Just to put it…

Pros
  • Ink
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Aromatic, smooth, bottomless, decadent and ethereal.

I practice calligraphy as part of my zazen practice. I've always wanted to try solid ink and finally got these. I have to say that my first experience with mascara was quite disappointing because I didn't know how to use it. I struggled with the mascara for about a week before finally feeling it. This ink is definitely not for beginners in fine arts as it requires a lot of dedication to get the desired results. I'd say don't get this if you're into western calligraphy as this ink is strictly…

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Some mistakes
