🛥️ Humminbird 7400931 MHX XNT Marine Transom Mounting Kit Review

This is NOT the mount I needed for my fish finder. I feel deceived. But I saved it by getting it to work anyway. However, for the price I paid, it's NOT worth it. Ask about the suction power. How is the suction power? Rschunimagu. There is nothing about this kit that has anything to do with suction except the price.

This is the second mount I have installed. The first one broke when my grandson stepped on it. The replacement (this one) failed as soon as I got on the plane about 20 minutes after installation and had my transducer banged on the transom and I found it had failed. Not sure why as it looked fine when I installed it. It broke at its weakest point, where the pivot bolt that holds the transducer is located.

The mount worked perfectly. However, the hardware shown in the advert image did not include screws or plastic clips or clips as shown in the advert. I will not be returning the item as the brace has the correct fit and that is what I need most.

We were in a dilemma when one of the brackets broke the day before an out of state tournament. We ended up having to buy the whole device to get the mounts and then I order it to replace the mounts and return the original device. A year later another part broke so we ordered again. This mount has a quick release feature in case you hit something with it. Well, the tabs, which are supposed to allow the transmitter to tip over if it hits something, hold onto the base so tightly that the base breaks. Found this today when installing. I don't like writing negative reviews but that seems to be the only appeal as this product broke during a normal installation and I can't contact Humminbird no matter what channel I try to use. There are three mounting screws, and when the third/bottom screw is hand tightened with a screwdriver, the bottom of the mount essentially diverges in 3 directions.
