Very poor workmanship as you can see in the picture. This is not at all the picture they sell (I thought it looked like stainless steel) but it is very poor quality carbide and very rusty to the touch. The grip doesn't go all the way and so I think the drive is fine, the dose doesn't go down like you want. In short, do not buy.

This product makes perfect falafel slices. You can vary the size of the pieces by rounding off the tip or trimming flush with the end. The fit and finish is a little problematic and it took me a while with my Dremel Mototool to get the sharp edges off and my hands turned a bit blue, but overall it makes a good falafel and the price is right.

Ice cold stainless steel spoon, but the falafel mold is made of a strange metal that turns to a black chalky material. Hands get dirty when washing, at least for the first few uses. Haven't touched it in a long time. Basically, it looks ugly and dirty when you use it, no matter how many times you wash it. But it makes good falafel.

Very easy to use. I removed the spring which I felt would make it more difficult to use. The felafel mixture was easy to squeeze out and hold together. I used to make balls by hand and it's been an amazing improvement. Maybe a bit small but it made the felafel crispier. I don't think it will hold up to heavy use but for me it was perfect. Use a flat "spoon" to push the mixture into the tool and then round the ball. Too bad I haven't bought it for a long time!
