Hunter 26019 12-Inch Downrod in Brushed Nickel Finish Review

I could buy the exact same item in HD but I was worried I would need a lower shaft threaded on both ends. I haven't opened my new FANS YET, but I have a Hunter installed in my other house which required threaded rod on both...

As expected, easy to thread a wire through and screw onto the fan. I was concerned before buying it that it wouldn't be strong enough and would shake when the fan is running at high speed, but I haven't had any (I mean zero) fan shake yet, even at high speed. Couldn't be happier

Nothing to say. This rod is 12 inches brushed nickel. However, the quality does not match the original Hunter rods that came with my fan. There isn't much in this part, doubts are very important but customers shouldn't be misled and hopefully this will help the next person make a more informed decision.

Worked great to extend the bottom bar for the fan we had in our living room as it has vaulted ceilings. Now the fan hangs at the right height, driving cold air. Our previous fan was hung too high and only pushed hot air off the ceiling. As a result, the new fan performed much better for our needs. It matched perfectly with the metal of the Hunter fans we bought at the orange hardware store.

I ordered 3 of these from Costco and then found they didn't come with an extension rod. Since Revain is usually great for getting those extra parts I ordered 3 of these and finally got around to installing them. Turns out one of them has such bad streams that he can't connect to the fan and it seems a few weeks too late to bring him back. Dissatisfied customer.
