I first saw this fan in early 2020 while visiting a family member. You have 2 I think. We used it in our room and were so impressed I bought one. Ours arrived and I immediately noticed a "ticking" sound as I turned the fan off and the blades stopped. I thought maybe the fan would "settle down" and that was an accident. Nice and powerful fan, but 37 days after arrival (7 days after return period) it no longer oscillates at medium speed (blades not spinning, fan not spinning) . How much longer will it oscillate at low and high speeds, who knows? Too bad we can't make/sell a decent fan anymore, even for $55-60 off. I was hesitant to order after reading previous reviews and was very pleased with Hunter's old Century model which it looks very much like. Upon receipt, all I can say is WOW. Hunter discounted this device so much, but the higher price tag stayed - and the warranty (which is almost worthless, FYI) was shortened and undercut. On the one hand, it's okay if the body sheet metal is a lot thinner, but the engine and transmission in these new units are about as cheap as you can get for their size. The
