The manufacturer put a label on these shorts stating they stretch in two directions, but to be honest they didn't stretch much in either direction! Got this for my eldest son and he told me there's no way mommy is pink. Well, his sister screamed for a year, I want her mother. So you were loved by her. She says it's perfect and comfortable there.

These shorts are true to size and have a flap in the front that can make them bigger if needed so my nephew will last at least two seasons in them. The haircut is of good quality. They are soft and comfortable. There are no mesh underwear, but they can be used as swimming trunks if needed. I recommend them.

Bought these specifically because was told only up to 4T had a mesh liner but bought a size 6 and they had a mesh liner and had to return them.

Bought a size 10/25 for my 8 year old heavy build. The length is great (not too short), the waist can be tightened but not quite enough. They're too loose, so he has to wear his boxers with them for a better fit. The quality is excellent. No difference between this seller and buying from Kohl.

These are good shorts. I had never heard of "board shorts". After some research I found out that these are basically swim shorts with no mesh lining. You can "command" with them, or maybe wear underwear underneath. Of course you can use them in the pool or at the beach but I would recommend them in places like a water park or theme park with water slides or anywhere outdoors where you expect to get wet but also want your child to be comfortable in walking . . My son loves them, the colors are bright, the print is great and they are comfortable. However, the description is somewhat misleading. They don't discolour or leave marks when wet, at least that's not what we noticed. There's also no stretch, except at the waist. Hurley is a good brand, I expect them to last until he outgrows them.

I bought these for my 11 year old, they are very pretty and very well made but a bit small! I'll order a size up as it doesn't stretch and they tie in the front so not much room to wiggle.

These board shorts fit my son very well as they come in a size 12. He usually wears a large boy size. The colors are bright and the stitching is good. Not sure about the color change when wet. I like that the material is soft and not too constricting (tight). The colors are so bright and attractive. The brand is well-known and durable for everyday use at the pool and on the beach. Usually, after washing our swimsuits, the colors start to fade and wear out, but these shorts have kept their quality over the last summer. We bought size 7 for a skinny 7 year old girl and there is nothing special to grow. So I disagree with some reviewers who say it's big. Unfortunately the following two sizes are not available at Revain so don't worry about returns.

They fit as expected and are lightweight. They change when there is a pattern in the water. These are swim trunks that look good enough for everyday wear. I would highly recommend them to anyone with an active child and a pool.

These are great shorts for boys. I'm a size 6 for my almost 7 year old and they were a bit big for him but they have an elastic waistband to make them tighter so should last a few years!
