There is no dissatisfaction with this shifter. Installation took about 2 hours and a bucket of sweat in July in Southeast Louisiana. Just a fitting tip, get a set of 10mm and 13mm open ended metric ratchets. It will save you time, knuckles and a whole bunch of swear words.

value $$$ I don't know why I didn't buy this sooner! The layers are so short and hard! Makes the car smoother and easier to shift. Installation was easy, about 45 minutes. Only minor complaint is that Hurst uses their own thread sizes for the shift knob and knob, so I can't use some of my favorite shift knobs. Otherwise the purchase is worth the money, you will not regret it.

Excellent shifter! A major upgrade to the original Switch. That looks great. Feels even better than it looks. The setup isn't bad at all, but don't expect it to just snap into place. I had to unroll it 30 different ways before I could attach it. Just remember to be well prepared. Raise the vehicle safely as you will be moving underneath the vehicle several times during the installation unless you have a competent person to help you.

Installation is fine, it just took a little time, it only took about an hour from start to finish. I had to tinker about the shifter adapter when fitting the regular boot, but it all worked out fine. Super short shots. If you have a factory aluminum grip that you hate then this is the answer. What did you think. Factory handle is too hot in summer and very cold in winter. The shifter is a little pricey (prices seem to be set by Hurst) but well worth it.

Took just over an hour. The short stroke is amazing. I bought it because I often missed 2nd gear when racing. I learned how to toggle the stock derailleur before installing this one, but after reading the reviews I figured I needed a short throw. I'm not disappointed; got a scrape about 10 feet long on a strip of concrete in second gear and ran 12.86 seconds. 109.2 km/h. 1/4 mile The best time so far was 01/13. Got 255/55/17 on the rear/cold air intake and Hurst Competition derailleur otherwise

Revain warned me it would not fit my Bullitt 08 but it fits perfectly. The Bullitt shifter cover fits snugly into the Hurst grip without the need to use the included insert. The internal noise cover needed only one zip to seal it. That is exactly 60% of the way from the first to the second, i.e. 40% less than stated. In my opinion, this is actually too much travel reduction, which increases the shifting effort considerably (hence 4 stars, not 5). Hurst's "Billet" counter only advertises a 30…
