The product is a well built and well finished product.

The product is well built and well finished. The shaft that fits into your truck's receiver is one piece, and the bracket and ball are machined from heavy gauge steel.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing

Doesn't work best in ball joints

Cheaply made, very heavy, chains take longer, doesn't work on my truck/trailer. Return shipping costs too much plus a restocking fee. So I'm stuck here with no money left. If someone doesn't buy it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Perfect! fits exterior accessories

This hitch surprised me when it arrived. He's very heavy. I was expecting a hollow tube construction like the Reese ball joints, but it's solid steel! The weight was a shock when the package arrived. Very happy with this product.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Compatibility

Reliable, easy to use tow and winch hardware

Bought this rack for my 2005 Jeep Liberty as I needed to tow several different trailers at different heights. I was surprised at the weight of the product as it was made from steel bar and not tube like most other hitches. Worked as expected and with the ball on the end sticking out from behind the spare tire.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Casual Fit: Ball Mounts

Made from solid steel but will not fit a standard 2" receiver. Very sloppily plugged into my receiver to the point where I had to stick washers on top to fill the gap. There is also a sloppy fit between the tribole part and the vertical adjustment receiver which I also had to route with shims. If you're ok with the change, it looks like it's working.

Pros
  • Slim Design
Cons
  • Secret

Let's see if I can find a mount with better tolerances and get rid of it

Every connection point is loose, with three points (receiver, elevation and ball mount) loosens worse. When changing load from towing to braking, the curvature of the mount can be corrected. Let's see if I can find a bracket with better tolerances and get rid of it. Otherwise good delivery, good packaging, hard wearing and structurally well finished.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Speed

Looks solid - ball joints

, I have not had a chance to tow anything with this hitch but as many say it is reliable. It's not a hollow tube design (which seems a positive to some and a negative to others). When I bought it I knew it was going to be heavier than I actually wanted, but for the price I was willing to go a little heavier. I ended up just using a triple bullet on my receiver and putting the rest of the components in a storage box in the back seat. I can use it if I want, otherwise it just sticks out too much…

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Dear
