Husky Liners 35703: Classic Style Tan Front Floor Mats for 1996-02 Toyota 4Runner Review

I won't go into detail as to why I thought Husky was better than Weathertech. The upholstery of the bottom of the second seat is of excellent quality. Downgraded to 2 stars as it is a two piece design for the rear floor of my 1998 4runner. I was expecting a one piece design as shown in the photo. It looks like the picture in the listing (and on the Husky website) does not apply to this car.

Fits almost perfectly and is the best deal I could find. The material appears to be of good quality, the plastic is flexible but stiff and without the pungent odor that some other rugs have. The rims are high enough around the edges to catch most spills like a leaking radiator, and so far the mat has been strong enough even when we've placed rough building materials on it (ordered June 1, 2017).

Front and Second Row Purchased Mat for 98 4runner. Fits perfectly. The car will survive. As other reviewers have pointed out, the 2nd row has two parts. The driver's side runs over the transmission tunnel and then under the panel behind the passenger seat. Should stay in place but double sided tape or velcro will secure if needed. Easy to clean and maintain. There are cheaper products out there, but not of the same quality. Would buy again.

I have had Husky liners on three other cars. Although it's supposed to be a "tailored fit," I found it left some room around the edges where previous experiences didn't. I also found that it didn't "sit flat" even after putting weights on the lining in my house for several days. Not as happy as the Husky products I've bought for other vehicles. Much happier with the WeatherTech liners I bought for the first and second rows.

Not bad at all. Best of all, the trunk mat doesn't smell! I've had so many smelly mattresses and smelly rubber products that the lack of odors is a real joy. The only negative is that I didn't realize that this product was plastic rather than rubber. So things still slide around a bit (especially the plastic toolboxes). I wish it was rubber like most floor mats so things stay in place, but it mostly works. Another thing to note is that it comes rolled up so it will take some time to straighten…

I actually like them more than I thought. I bought some Husky earbuds for the 2018 RAM and they were a different design, with grooves instead of the diamond pattern. The grooved ones weren't available in the 3rd gen 4Runner, so I took them. They fit very well, even right out of the box.
