I have been using Husky earphones for many years. They fit well and will definitely protect the carpet in your car. I've had a set for 10 years and haven't noticed any visible wear. Why keep track of dirt, mud, snow, spills, etc on a car carpet when a set of these will last "forever" and keep the carpet clean. I highly recommend the Husky Weatherbeaters.

Passenger side deformed after a few months. I ordered a replacement under their lifetime warranty but now the same thing is happening to the replacement - the rubber is deformed in the same spot on the passenger side.
