🚗 Husky Liners 98681 Weatherbeater Floor Mats for 2012-21 Volkswagen Passat - Front & 2nd Seat, Black Review

I've been debating whether to buy these or Weathertechs. They work great. Easy installation and gripping the prongs under the mats prevent slipping. There were a couple of spots where the plastic/rubber warped slightly which caused the mats to shrink a bit, but I took a heat gun and gently heated the plastic to shape them a bit. It worked great and I'm happy with them so far.

Passenger Side Floor Mat Not matched to 2020 Passat model. The backing of the rug does not match the contours of the plank. The floor mat also has holes for two floor pins, which have been omitted on the passenger side in the 2020 model. I reported these concerns to the Husky. Otherwise the 3 other positions are perfect and I appreciate the fact that the rider's dead pedal is well protected.

I chose the Husky over the WT because the WT liners only go to the middle of the dead pedal. I would like Husky to offer 2 different liners if your car is/is equipped with an under seat driver side power amplifier which I don't have and the liner is "cut off" which seems redundant. Very soft material that cleans well, is smooth and has no texture so dirt does not accumulate. I will definitely consider it again if I change cars in the future.

They fit my 2013 VW Passat TDI SEL perfectly. Don't forget to remove the factory floor mats first! They snap with pinpoint accuracy and wrap around every curve. The material is durable but doesn't make any annoying tapping noises when I move my feet. They are way better than the regular floor mats I tried first. I haven't tried WeatherTech so I can't compare. But for the price difference and the perfect fit, I'm happy where I am.

I bought these thinking they would be a good alternative to outrageously expensive weather tech, but you get what you pay for. These things seem almost too small for my car and just aren't as durable as I was hoping. They catch liquids really well, I'll give them that, but because they seem too small, they constantly move under my feet while riding, which is not only annoying but can be dangerous. I just installed these Husky pads on my 2021 Volkswagen Passat. It turned out great. I used to have Husky liners in my trucks and they work great. Glad they offered them for this car. For some reason, Revain says they won't fit the 2021 Passat. Totally happy with these Husky floor mats I bought for my 2014 VW Passat! I prefer these over WeatherTech liners because the Husky liners extend past the rider's legs, especially where the left leg is. The rest only goes halfway up the plate where the left foot rests, so I was afraid that if the left boot was dirty and wet the mud would just run off behind the mat.
