Gas Tank Short Reserve

When my clockwork faucet broke I ordered it with little expectation due to the low price. After 4 months everything was perfect. It fits in my DRZ400 tank and doesn't leak. Installation was easy and took about 10 minutes. The only downside is that the spare straw is very short. So if you get to this level, you need gas NOW!

Fell apart after only 1 year!

After a year the plastic filters broke down causing the carburetor to clog even though I had an inline fuel filter. The broken mesh particles or plastic slime were small enough to pass through the filter. I use ethanol-free gasoline in my off-road bikes, but none of the other bikes look like it. Save money and time and get a quality product.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Nothing

Not as described

Said to fit Raptor 350. It screws into the tank as usual but due to the extended stem the valve switch does not match the hole in the plastic. So it will work if you really want it, but it will be problematic to switch between different modes. I returned it and found what I think is right with a shorter stem. Revain has many listings promoting the Raptor 350, so this isn't the only seller promoting this part this way.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great PetCock replacement for a 1988 Moto 4 Yamaha 350

The main reason I changed my petcock was to fully tune a 1988 Moto 4 Yamaha 350 version. I replaced oil filter, oil, air filter with air filter, oil, fuel filter, fuel line, battery, intake manifold, carburetor, spark plug, master cylinder, brake pads and pads, and bled the brakes with new fluid. Also new indicators and headlights. Petrol tap turns much easier than the original and does not leak. I would recommend.

  • Durable finish

Dissatisfied - Gas tanks

Not installed yet. To be honest I'm considering returning it or throwing it away if I can find an original spare. I'm really not thrilled with how short the main gas line is compared to the original part. Essentially, this means that the fuel supply is almost zero. Also, as you notice, the carburetor feed line is much shorter, which means a longer feed line needs to be installed. This means an increased risk of getting caught and damaging the fuel supply. I'll try as the bike I have is old and…

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • No automatic

Gas hose smaller than OEM

Gas hose is smaller (1/4 inch) than OEM hose (1/2 inch). A shut-off valve was installed on the gas tank and the gas line was too large for this part. Had to make an emergency trip to buy another new 1/4" gas line that will fit. The other end that goes to the fuel pump is very difficult to get to, but I was able to hook it up to the fuel pump to get this part working As you can see from the pictures the OEM has a larger ring on the end of the pipe to fit the standard 1/2" gas line and this part…

Pros
  • Economical
Cons
  • Large and bulky
