For painting closet doors it was exactly what I wanted. A word of caution though. Points to it KEEN. When painting, it is very easy to leave dents. I used a few pieces of masking tape to cover the dots. I think it was important. No stains and they were perfect for drying the doors.

This allowed the freshly painted bookshelf panels to dry slightly after each coat of paint, making the job quicker and allowing the paint to dry drip-free. It also made it easier to see the surface as I applied the layers so they went more evenly. They are finished the same, sit straight, are of good quality and have a good tip to hold the work properly.

I thought this would be a great idea because I was assembling the guitar and using paint and numerous coats of oil coating on the body and thought there would be a good way to flip it , without being on a surface that could contaminate the body of the guitar. In fact, they are so sharp they leave dents on the body of the guitar. Luckily I was able to (mostly) fill them in with wet sanding.

I don't know why I can't think of such cool stuff first! They are so simple and yet so useful. Small plastic pyramids that support whatever you draw without big marks and lines in the paint. The tips are slightly rounded to avoid pinholes. If your item is soft wood and very heavy, denting may occur, so test it on a piece of scrap metal first. But for projects of medium size and weight, you don't see anything. If you paint or stain at all you should try this.

All right. I have a few orange ones that I will continue to buy in the future. They left a lot of dents and scratches on my tree which really pissed me off! At that time I had to send in about 6 projects and repaint them. I have never had this problem with oranges and have been using them for over a year now. Forget using them on soft wood - they work on harder wood if you put them on their sides instead of on top. I tried covering them with tape but it didn't work - maybe I just need more, not

The theory behind the product is great and I've read several blogs that highly recommended it but it didn't work for me. Regardless of the size/weight of the door panel, the pyramid will dent the wood and the stain will adhere to the pyramid and not the door. Because the stain stuck, I was only able to work on one side at a time. As for the dents, I bought more pyramids and placed them under the doors to distribute the weight and it still resulted in tiny dents at every spot. The kitchen doors…
