Saved my herb garden from a New England winter.

Note: Can't comment on durability yet as I've only had it a month. I'll update when it burns out to give a better idea of its lifespan. I'm not usually very inquisitive, but I was very excited to start successfully growing herbs (from seed!) in the summer. Living in Boston, I knew that the cold and lack of daylight in winter was a problem would represent for me. When I first brought everything indoors it looked like placing plants near windows would be good enough, but after just a few weeks…

Works well for my indoor aeroponic garden

I recently purchased one of these full spectrum CFL hydroponic grow lights for my new tower garden after reading another Revain review about it. I'm working on an urban gardening project and will be growing veggies and herbs entirely indoors year-round. I thought I had a lot of light in the corner of my kitchen where there are a lot of windows, but I live in a dense forest and although there is a lot of sun in the summer, the sun shines in from the other side in the fall and winter. and…

This lightbulb is the bomb!

These lamps allow you to grow whatever you want indoors. They emit very little heat, have a good light spectrum (5500K) and consume very little power. The advantage is that they fit in normal lamp holders. Remember they are about 9 inches long. You can use these bulbs in both the vegetative growth phase of your plant and in the flowering phase. In an ideal world, you should turn off the 5500K bulbs when your plants start to flower, with a 26W, 2700K CFL Compact Fluorescent grow light that plugs
