mint flavor. on Oral Care

I bought this product because it was said to be tasteless! What a shock when I tried it and it was a strong mint. I can't even imagine how the kid will like this taste. It was very strong and burned my mouth. I will return this toothpaste. I'm looking for another brand that contains hydroxyapatite that doesn't actually contain mint.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great alternative to fluoride toothpaste

I wanted to find a toothpaste that would protect my kids teeth well without being afraid of fluoride and taste good otherwise kids wouldn't use it. This toothpaste hits the spot, and the bonus is that it's more affordable than many other natural options. If you have any doubts about the safety of fluoride, have younger children who still swallow toothpaste, or are just looking for something good and protective, I would suggest trying hydroxyapatite products.

Pros
  • Works for many
Cons
  • Works

My picky daughter loves it! Your dentist too!

I have a 9 year old who is very picky about the taste of toothpaste but has had so much tooth decay and so much dental work. In desperation, I researched toothpaste options and settled on this product. She has been using it for 3 months now. I just went to her for a cleaning and the dentist said her teeth have never looked better! I am definitely a lifetime customer!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Some difficulties

the child complains about the taste, but nha is good

a plastic tube with a screw cap, no flip. My 6 year old likes the taste of fruit or bubblegum and has complained a couple of times that the mint is too spicy. We use this with a dab of Now Watermelon Flavored Xylitol Baby Tooth Gel. nHa seems to have stopped a potential cavity in his molar as the last visit to the dentist was the first time we weren't warned to keep an eye on that area.

Pros
  • there's something in there
Cons
  • almost everything is there

The ingredients are good but the taste is still minty.

The only hydroxyapatite toothpaste I could find was "odorless". Or so they claimed. I got tired of the minty taste of toothpaste in the first trimester of pregnancy. I couldn't brush my teeth without throwing up so I decided to try this one. Also mint flavor.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • ---

Very good product: Oral care

This product seemed expensive but judging by the size of the product this is a good price. I started using this with my 2 year old daughter who has dental problems. I've been using it for a few weeks and her teeth look whiter. She and my six year old son love it. It has a very faint taste but I just added some of their old toothpaste and they loved it. I have personally used this in front of children and my teeth were very clean afterwards. Remember to order for the whole family!

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Not my kid's favorite but does the job.

I like hydroxyapatite toothpastes because they're a good alternative for kids who either A) tend to choke on toothpaste or B) need extra oral care. My three year old is in a former camp. This kid intentionally sucks toothpaste out of his toothbrush every time I brush his teeth, and he can't be trusted with gum-flavored fluoride toothpaste. This makes her less inclined to do so. (She tried to tell me it was spicy. It's not, it's very slightly minty and very harmless.) I like these toothpastes…

Pros
  • WITHOUT FLUORIDES, PARABENS AND SLS - Kinder Karex gently cleans teeth without fluoride, parabens and sodium lauryl sulfate.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
