I am very happy with this heater and am planning to buy one with my 20 gallon.

Good heater! It has a nice lid that protects the fish. Keeps my water at a constant plus or minus temperature (depending on how the temperature in my house rises and falls). The heater quickly adjusts the temperature to my settings. It's easy to use and I appreciate the digital display on the front that shows the water temperature. It also shows you the set temperature when you press the button on the power cord once. You can also adjust the setting with the push of a button until you reach…

HONEST REVIEW - Aquarium Heaters and Coolers

I have a 5 gallon hospital aquarium that I was having trouble finding a heater for. This was not because there were no other heaters, but mainly because of their material and temperature fluctuations. I received the Hygger heater about 1 week ago and it is PHENOMENAL. It maintained its temperature even when I dropped the room temperature. The rest of the heaters covered themselves in a film in a couple of days which almost ended up clogging my filter. This heater does not have this problem…

Doesn't hold an exact temperature!

I bought this heater for my hospital aquarium because it has adjustable temperature control and I sometimes need a higher or lower water temperature depending on what fish need to be quarantined. After weeks of trying to get this to work, I'm sending it back. The instructions say it can change a degree, but even if left at the same set temperature for several days, not only will it change 3+ degrees, it won't maintain a constant temperature at all. Good heater, durability questionable

I don't know how accurate it is but it seemed to respond quickly to the addition of cooler or warmer water and my fish were happy. A few days ago the LED read "HH" (meaning 95+ degrees) so it went off. Except that the water was actually only 68 degrees. It scanned up and down between 87 and HH as if it couldn't figure out what the temp was, then switched to HH for a while before it started scanning again. I was very happy with it until it happened. Less than 6 months is totally unacceptable…

Perfect if you want to kill your fish!

I would like to give -5. I don't normally write negative reviews but I have to as I am very disappointed with the performance of this product. I bought a 50w mini heater for my 1.7 gallon aquarium which houses a male cockatiel named Poseidon. In the evening I set the heating to 22 degrees. Normally the water temperature for bettas is between 22 and 25 degrees. I went to eat with my sister and when I came back at 9pm everything was fine. My rooster was an excellent swimmer and, as always, cooled
